Firework

Last Saturday, I got lucky to see a firework party :D

I tried to captured it's beauty... but I was not as easy as I thought. So I got pictures like this...

and with a little imagination could be a glowing flower like this

or even a jellyfish look-a-like? HAHAHA...

But anyway, it was sooooo much fun! The DJ played Katy Perry's Firework... Such a beautiful night =D

I love this song so much... It's all about passion, dream, courage... what a wonderful thing!

Caterpillar

One lovely afternoon, I looked at my plants, and saw this:

My plants was eaten by something :(

Then I found this:

I guessed this little fellow don't know what he's causing.

Later on, I found not only one, but a few of them. I guessed, one had became a beautiful butterfly (hopefully). Then I kinda remembered all of the caterpillar-butterfly life that I learned when I was little. It made me think how magical what a "change" can made. From one ugly creature to be such a beautiful thing. Maybe that's just how life supposed to be. Constantly changing, and the more we change, the more we find the beauty in ourself.

A Picnic At The Beach

It's a holiday indeed! What would be more fun than having a picnic at the beach? What a pleasant time :) and I love love love beaches! This time, I went to a beach called Ngobaran in Gunung Kidul, Central Java; about 2 hours from Yogyakarta. This beach haven't been a tourism area yet, so there aren't much people there.

The unique thing about this beach is the statues of various beliefs that are combined in one place. It's shows how well the different beliefs get a long in this society.

This is a statue of Ganesha, Hinduisms most popular deities.

You will also find some Buddhist stupa. This stupa is like the one at Borobudur temple.

The symbol of a hand is the symbol of an old belief called "Kejawen". This belief don't have any scriptures like any other religion, but at the core is the concept of peace of mind.

This is the overview of the lonely beach. It's a perfect place for a picnic!

The beach is beautiful with it's white sands.

I found this spot to be a little bit scary. The white rocks kinda look like a pile of skull. It gave me goosebumps! HAHAHA...

It's not a picnic without bringing something to eat! I packed some sandwiches, snacks, and some drinks :)

At the end of the day, I was so happy having this lovely picnic :)
How's your holiday?

Kung Fu Panda 2

This holiday is loaded with lots of great movies. I watched Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D. Can't say that it was a great 3D movie, but at least the story was great and quite entertaining. I find it more fun to watch than the previous Kung Fu Panda.

In Kung Fu Panda 2, Po had an adventure with his friends with a mission to save China. But this time, it's not as easy as only learning some kung fu and mastering it, but is more about how to deal with the past that still haunted him. He have to find what is called inner peace. I guess with a character like Po, it won't be that hard. And the movie did bring some tears in my eyes... It was so touching!

What I love most about this sequel is the search of inner peace. It's not only for learning kung fu, but I think that we all need this to help us reach our dreams. I've always thought that how people behave is part of what the past has made them. People can try to hide what their not proud of, but inside, that part of the past will always be there. It's not gonna be easy finding our inner peace, but it is worth every try.
