London Underground

Weekend it is! These few weekends, I've been following "The Tube", a BBC series that shows the life of people who worked at London's underground train system. It was so exciting since I live at a place that doesn't have that kind of public transportation. Well, maybe my town isn't that big to have a complicated train system. What I like about the series is that I could see a different life and it's not an easy one either. There's so much facts that I made note of for the next time I will have a chance to go there, I'll have a bit of knowledge. Some facts I learned: The underground system ended it's service at 12 A.M, so don't go home too late; be careful at Friday nights because it's the most crowded night and there're lots of drunk people; don't stand to close to the platform because you'll never know if some teenage will joke around and make you fall down the platform and got hit by a train (scary, but it did happened quite a lot)! Well, there's many other facts, but anyway, it's a great series because I got to see a little part of London life =)

Book: The Diary Of Amos Lee

I got of reading books about life of a while and try something a little bit refreshing. I accidentally stumble to this book called "The Diary of Amos Lee" which I choose just because of the doodle cover. I really loved the doodles and it was so amazing! The doodles were made by an Singapore artist named Stephanie Wong. The book is created by the author Adeline Foo

The story is obviously about Amos Lee. He's a smart boy from Singapore. I think Adeline Foo did a great job in the details of Singapore. There's even a story about the day Ah Meng (Singapore Zoo's favorite Orang Utan) died. The details of what this generation is like at the time of the writing is brilliant too! I know it's a story for a child, but I think, I'm still a child by heart =) I really enjoyed reading this and the doodles, so amazing! This book inspires me too make doodles like I used to when I was a kid!

Distance

I've just saw this youtube of Christina Perri feat Jason Mraz wih their new song "Distance". It was so AMAZINGLY ROMANTIC... I would love to see a concert like that! Front row, PLEASE!

The chemistry of both of them is like, real... I really can't stand the intense look from Jason =) I remembered that intense look somewhere... :P Anyway, I love the song too... It's on my every playlist... Too beautiful and sad. It's like they are so close but there's this distance that she could almost touch him but she can't.

And I will make sure to keep my distance
Say "I love you" when you're not listening
How long can we keep this up, up, up?
